Ramon Collell’s love of flying began when he was 8 years-old, stepping into a Lockheed Constellation on a flight to the United States from his hometown of Havana, Cuba. This early fascination motivated him to earn his private pilot license at age of 16, pursue a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics, and earn his license as an Airline Transport Pilot.
As he continued his aviation pursuits, Ramon spent 28 years serving his community in law enforcement. During his career, he received a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science and directed numerous units focused on both domestic and international security issues. Ramon is proud to bring this experience to Foundation Aviation.
With several decades in aviation, Ramon’s professionalism and experience exemplifies Foundation’s vision for safety and personal service. In his role as Director of Safety, Ramon’s deep background in aviation and beyond will ensure the safety, service, and reliability our clients expect and deserve.
A longtime resident of Anaheim, California, Ramon and his loving wife have two wonderful children and their cherished dog, Oliver.
